Mikaela
Mikaela Sienkiewicz; a 13 year old resident of Burlington VT is waiting for her life saving liver and kidney transplants. Mikaela was diagnosed with Autosomal Recessive Polycystic Kidney Disease (ARPKD) and Congenital Hepatic Fibrosis (CHF) and is at the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, PA.
The proceeds from this contest will help us raise the estimated $150,000 transplant related expenses the Sienkiewicz family will incur.

Thank you to all our Sponsors...
We have a winner. Congratulations to Laura Seuschek of Cabin John, MD! In her words: “And I must say that I am VERY EXCITED to have WON! I am still in disbelief. What a great ride!!! My old Juliana has been a great friend but I am sure she will understand”. From what I hear, Laura is a great rider and will put her new Mojo SL to good use. Apparently she had a office wager going with her co-workers, I don’t know all the details but I think she gets her new Mojo washed for awhile. O, yeah~ Today is Laura’s birthday too! Happy Birthday Laura!
Random.org picked Laura’s lucky number: # 2349.
A big thank you goes out to ALL who participated, thanks to you we raised a TON of money for Mikaela and her family.
Here are the numbers:
Total money raised for Mikaela’s transplant related expenses: $21,215.00
*5370 tickets were purchased
*737 people donated
*Average donation was $28.79
While I could go on about this great bike raffle and the importance of the fundraising campaign, let me tell you what’s happening with Mikaela. On March 30th, Mikaela started dialysis and on April 1st, Mikaela’s dad, Mike, was cleared as a live liver donor! These two events represent a new and positive direction for her. While Mikaela's transplant journey continues, know that your donation to the campaign is considered a vital part of the support system that her family depends upon, this is the real Mojo.
